I ordered this bit from Canada and got great help from MJ with the order and shipping advice. I am a bit of a Luddite with on-line orders and MJ really helped me out. It arrived in quick order by US Post. I used it on a piece of live edge walnut and man did it ever work well! The material removal rate (for all you engineers out there) was superb and there was no damage to the work piece even though I was going a bit deeper than I maybe should have been :). I did both sides of a piece about 4′ x 2′ and there is no sign of wear on the bit. I am happy in every possible way with the product and service I received from Bits & Bits and I will be back!

This was my first attempt at surfacing anything. It did a great job. I was able to talk with the folks at Bits & Bits before I bought it and they were very friendly and helpful. My project is a 48′ end slab of a Northwest fir tree that has been sitting in my barn for 8 years so I figured it was time to finish it. Very happy with the bit and will probably buy the 1/2″ version of it for my next project. Thank you bits & bits for the help!
