Diamond Drag Bits for Engraving

The Diamond Drag Engraving Tool is normally used while the spindle is off so it will not rotate while it engraves. A Drag tool will only ‘scratch’ the material, the tip is similar to a pencil point and it does not cut very deep. The Drag tool has been very popular through out the years to engrave trophies, dog tags, brass and aluminum labels, etc.

When engraving soft material such as gold or silver, use the 140 degree; for brass and aluminum use the 120 degree; and for stainless steel use the 130 degree.
