Low Helix Spiral Bits

An excellent choice for a multi-purpose cutting bit, our Low Helix up-cut spiral bits excel in plastics, acrylics and foam, and work well in wood and plywood. Also called ‘open helix’ or ‘slow helix’, these low helix CNC bits have less twist than a standard bit, reducing material uplift while cutting.

Available in 1/8″ and 1/4″ cutting diameters, we offer a uncoated version which works best for foam cutting.
