AstraHP Coating is our newest multi layer coating that we apply to our bits and end mills. Thinner, harder and smoother than our previous version, AstraHP is formulated to resist heat built up as the tool is cutting. AstraHP Coating can extend the life of the bit 2-3x while allowing for faster feed rates.
