If you do a lot of pattern or template routing, this Whiteside UDC9112 Ultimate Flush Trim bit will out perform any straight router bit you have. Minimize tearout, even when moving from edge grain to end grain. The bearings on top or bottom of the cutter head allows the template to be on either side, or easily remove either top or bottom bearing for more flexibility.

The *AstraHP Coated* Whiteside Ultimate Flush Trim Bit (UDC9112) has a compression design to provide the cleanest cut when using templates leaving a crisp, clean edge on both the top and bottom edge of the work piece. Having a top and bottom bearing gives you the opportunity of working with either a top or bottom template. Whiteside’s compression spiral design, with a 7/8″ diameter bearing guide, makes this bit easy to use in the router and produces a superior quality trimmed edge.  The 7/8″ carbide compression design creates a high shear angle for perfect cuts every time. Compared to the Mega Flush Trim Bit, the UDC9112 is a true ultimate combination trim bit, with the cutter ground from a solid block of carbide.
