This 90 Degree Replacement Tip is recommended for engraving coated materials, such as lacquered brass or anodized aluminum name tags. The 90 degree tip is also recommended for engraving fine details, such as tiny lettering, and thin materials ( < 0.020″ thick.) For general purpose engraving on uncoated metal, plastic, granite, or glass, we recommend using our 120 Degree Replacement Tip.
