Like the other bits’ I’ve used from Bits&Bits, this is a tight cutting smooth finish cutter. THe Astra coating even further extends the superior quality of this bad boy. I needed something to get in to the tight radius and this is perfect.

Fantastic bit as i use to trim the excess off of my 1/4″hardwood edge banding I use on all my cabinetry. Leave a smooth finish and makes for easy final sanding.

I purchased one and the locking collar does not have a set screw nor a threaded hole for one. The collar and bearings fly off when I attempted to use it.

Jack, Thanks for bringing this to our attention! The 1/4 flush trim bits have a press-on collar, so there is no set screw. We are sending a replacement bit!

Love this bit. Worth every penny. I was having a frustrating time with a traditional vertical flush trim bit (lots of tearout!) and this bit solved my issue. It has let me really speed up my template trimming and I wish I’d purchased sooner

I use the astra coated 1/4” spiral flush trim compression bit for flush trimming the edge of Cornhole boards and cutting out the holes. This bit makes cutting holes a breeze and takes no time at all tearing through dense plywood!

This is my favorite of all the bits I have from Bits and Bits. I make furniture pieces that are usually small in stature and lately by request, end grain cutting boards, charcuterie and wine holders. This bit allows easy access and what looks like a flawless cut. Some of the pieces I make simply wouldn’t be possible without this bit due to some of the small areas. I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommended!
