Solid Carbide engraving cutter. The tip size will determine the line width when it comes into contact with the material you are engraving. Very popular for engraving brass, aluminum, and stainless steel. For example when engraving 1/8″ tall letters use a .010 or .015 tip, but for 1/4″ tall letters use a .020 or .030 tip.

Engrave and mark a wide range of materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, wood, resin, plastics, acrylics and soft metals such as brass and copper. Industry standards recommend that you use an 80 degree included for engraving stainless and most metals and 60 degree included for engraving plastics and or brass.
