This cutter is great! We cut foam almost everyday for work and the geometry of the flutes produces low cutting forces and a smooth finish using a conventional cut. Highly recommended

I used this bit to cut 45 degree miters in 1″ thick wood with a palm router. A bit unconventional, but very accurate. I would recommend for woods softer than oak.

I’ve been using this bit to cut 2-1/4” (57mm) thick kaizen foam for making tool inserts for Packout tool boxes.
The finish that I can get with this bit is next level. Once I dialed in the speeds, feeds, depth of cut and the step over for my CNC and fixturing capabilities, I was able to reduce my cycle time while getting a better finish on the material.
This is also one of the few low helix bits I’ve been able to find with a 2” LOC (length of cut). Which is crucial for working with thicker foam.
The other major benefit that I’ve found with BitsBits is the speed that they fulfill and ship orders at. This is critical for me when my business relies on having access to quality tooling.
