This is a solid carbide engraving router bit with 45 degree included angle (22.5 degrees per side) and a .020 tip diameter, this larger tip diameter will give a more broader lettering and or groove. This 45 deg 1/4 x 2-1/2 engraving tool is a very popular choice for engraving detail on wood or plastic and even aluminum. It will cut a 45 degree angle into your material.
