What is a Diamond Drag?
The Diamond ‘Drag’ tool is normally used while the spindle is off so it will not rotate while it engraves. A drag tool will only ‘scratch’ the material, the tip is similar to a pencil point and it does not cut very deep. The Drag tool has been very popular through out the years to engrave trophies, dog tags, brass and aluminum labels, etc.
Made in the USA.
90° angle – Produces a very fine line.
120° – 130° angle – An all-purpose tip used for general engraving on brass and aluminum.
140° angle – for softer materials such as gold, pewter, and silver, produces a wider stroke.
