The Super Long Reach End Mill tools have an even longer reach for the really hard to reach areas. They have standard flute lengths with a relief grind after the flutes to allow you to continue your cut or plunge without hitting the shaft of the tool on the wall of the part or mold.

Ball End Mills have a round tip used to machine curved details, also called Ball Nose End Mills, they are used for milling rounded slots, slopes, and contours. All are center cutting, allowing plunge cuts into a surface and machining 2D/3D dimensional contours with a smooth finish. Great for milling into all types of material including, wood, plastic, metal. etc. Use uncoated end mills for general purpose milling and short production runs. Use coated end mills for demanding, high-speed jobs in hard material as well as for longer production runs. They’re more wear resistant than uncoated end mills.
